Muddy Creek Village represents a 32-unit employee housing community master leased to a subsidiary of one of the world’s largest mining companies. The property includes a single-family home, 10 log cabins, and 21 newly added park model homes installed in 2024. The recently completed development supplies critical workforce housing to Colorado’s $7 billion dollar mining industry at a time when many employers are struggling to maintain employees due to housing shortages.

Previously operated as a hospitality property offering nightly rentals for Kremmling’s year-round recreational visitors, Muddy Creek Village has been reimagined to meet a critical workforce housing need. Fortius Capital, recognizing the affordable workforce housing shortage, obtained a special use permit from the Town of Kremmling, added 21 park model homes to the property, and master leased all 32 units to a BBB rated master tenant for five years with renewal options for an additional five years.
